DD:A has its issues, but it still has a lot of charm attributed to it, and there really isn't anything like it with its combat, party mechanics, and the ability to grapple onto monsters while having a decently sized open world. Can't recommend anything like it, but I can give you some cool stylish fantasy games.

I think the reason it came out half-baked and super fucked is because it was possibly a last minute project, kinda like how Todd teased ES6, but that was 7 years ago. I think they essentially pulled a Todd, and then were possibly expected by investors to release the project after the success of Elden Sneed, and recognition that there was actually a relatively large group of people wanting a hyper fantasy open world game. It's the only thing I can logically think of that led to the game coming out the way it did.

yeah I can relate. I tried getting into overwatch and R6S competitively but the audience that plays those games are intolerable.
2015 is also around the time where they started rulecucking online games with retarded "don't say nigger or you get banned permanently with no appeal" bullraisin.

I was playing SF6 a lot a few months ago, I hadn't really played a fighting game since MK9 on the Vita and that was just Arcade mode.

did you at any point play for more than 3 hours in a sesh and notice issues with performance?
1st issue seems to cause serious stutter, and framerate loss that can drop to a point the game "freezes".
2nd issue SUPPOSEDLY a memory leak with Oblivion Remastered, and when googled there are several discussions bringing it up.

MY ISSUE was the first, and I didn't realize it. I kept editing the graphics in-game, and for whatever reason it created the first issue I brought up. When traversing the outdoor cell, after some time creating the edits in the graphics tab I started experiencing framedrops while on horse-back until eventually it lead to 0 frames, and froze. couldn't alt out of it, and ended up having to just shut off my device. on reboot issues were gone, and i got back on horse-back to test it again in the outer cell. issue was no longer there. this happened traversing from skingrad- near kvatch by the golden coast to do the Grey Prince quest.

no stuttering, no major framedrops (it's locked to 30 fps I get the occasional drop to 28fps when i'm roaming around the outdoor cell), no freezing, as long as i don't touch the graphic settings in-game. every time i booted up i was getting a feel for what the right graphical settings should be, and only started to have issues when i left skingrad on horse-back and had the horse sprint to kvatch. fps would drop to about 16 from 30 bounce back, and then get lower, and lower, but bounce back until it'd hit 0, and freeze up. not having this issue anymore. still have bad rendering, and pop in when i am loading into a cell, but that isn't something i think can be fixed with tinkering, or mods, and is something that requires a dev related update. i initially thought this was a memory leak, and there COULD be one present since a lot of online discussion is mentioning the possibility of a memory leak existing, but there's also a strong possibility that because the game just released people did the same thing as me trying to get a feel for how they should tinker the graphical settings, and it possibly started the trending discussion of the remaster possibly having a memory leak issue. people on HIGH end computers might not have experienced this since settings automatically detect your specs, and there'd be no reason for them to tinker around while in game.

sorry for late reply. i have the fps capped to 30 it will occasionally go down to 28 fps, no i'm not using freesync/gsync, i have this running off the steam deck lmfao, hardware is RDNA2 technically, but I also have tweaked my steam deck with ABT, and Cryoutilities. basic lighting is set to high, post processing is set to ultra, hair is ultra, cloth is high, textures are set to low, xess is being used, global illumination is low, rendering distance is high, foliage is set to low, I have xess at balanced. might be forgetting a setting or two, but the most important thing i am using is the high preset from optimalsations nexus mod. using the setting made for RDNA2 hardware creates worst rendering issues, and pop-in than using the high setting which significantly reduces it on new cells. i'm no longer having issues after tweaking everything, and keeping in mind to not play with the graphic settings while in game, just the minor rendering issue, and pop-in.
