Not really. Sonic Robo Blast 2 is just a fan game, but it's probably better than all of the stuff that team sonic did. It manages to be hard in the right ways, and actually being a fast game to play. After playing it, and knowing the history, I don't think team sonic has ever made a legitimately good 3d sonic game with their own ideas, and I have a sneaking suspicion that new sonic team junior is raisinting all over SRB2 because its a stain in the same way new vegas was for Bethesda, but SRB2 was pretty niche, so they could quietly steal ideas while being lauded as anything less than feckless, talentless fucks. I seriously think they're ruining the mechanics of that game, and getting aurtistic over what's been there for almost 20 years, without any desire to make, or even try to make an SRB3, because they actually want to run it into the ground. it's the only thing that makes their behavior lately make any sort of fucking sense.
