Yesterday I has a dream where Froot was slaughtering oranges and playing organ. Except Froot looked like Al Pacino and was called Ronald Reagan.

I heard from somewhere that lucid dreaming increases the risk of sleep paralysis, I was initially pretty interested in practicing lucid dreaming, but the alleged risk of sleep paralysis kinda scared me off of it
Might just be fed propaganda tho?

>>6900I'm naturally prone to lucid dreaming, and have had a small handful of mild sleep paralysis events. I've never gotten any major hallucinations during sleep paralysis aside from one occasion where I heard scratching at my door. I'd say the tradeoff is worthwhile – at least in my case. Your mileage may vary.

I had a dream where Chris Cornell told me he's hiding in room 1136 from Dave Grohl.
Past couple nights I had been listening mostly to Soundgarden and reading raisin about the cobain case. He was wearing a white hotel robe.

I had a couple of lucid dreams, but I never tried to do it intentionally I had one where I was riding a motorcycle and crashed, breaking my neck. I realized that I'm in a dream because I didn't die and I was able to keep dreaming for what felt another 20 seconds before waking up. During those 20 seconds I got up with my neck still broken and tried to explore the surrounding area. It was an endless field with no plants or animals, the sky didn't have any clouds and the sun wasn't a visible sphere emitting light like in real life, but something that looked like a set point from which endless light comes. I couldn't hold on for any longer, because I usually wake up within 10-20 seconds of becoming lucid.

A good reality check to tell if you're dreaming or not is to pinch your nose and see if you can still breathe. If you keep breathing you're in a dream.
