Hello everyone. I just woke up so forgive any spelling errors but I wanted to get here while it's still fresh in my mind. I just had a dream that seemed very familiar to me, like I had seen it on TV, but I don't remember where it's from or if I just had a repeat of another dream from years ago. The basic story is this:
We open on a large manor. It's either some sort of infirmary or dilapidated victorian-esk building. Inside of it is a crooked old couple, and a younger man. For their own sick pleasure, they're doing experiments on the younger man (mid to late 20's?). In my dream a narrator said they were supposed to be giving him the electric chair, but there were so many deviations I doubt that's the case. The older couple electrocutes the man all through the night. Next in my dream, some kind of inspector comes around, and the couple try to play cool, but their cover is eventually blown when the younger man gets the attention of the inspector. The couple are then pretty much evicted and have to start selling all of their possessions at auction. While this is going on, the inspector is in another room interrogating the younger man about "what they did to him", and the younger man realized he doesn't even remember all the awful things they did. They trained his mind to forget. This is obviously very troublesome news for the both of them, but the dream goes a little off the rails here. This younger guy, in a room by himself, is chain-smoking and talking to himself Ace Ventura style. Eventually, the couple decide to try and confront the younger man, hoping to kill him. They're armed with some kind of blunt weapon and a shotgun (in my dream the woman is literally holding a ceiling fan, something tells me that's not quite accurate). They come across the younger man in a bedroom, shirtless and muttering to himself incoherently. The two parties exchange a quick burst of gunfire, and the younger man is shot through the wall and slumps over. He lets our a deafening, blood curdling roar, causing the couple to retreat in fear. The younger man manages to cut them off, and it's implied that he's transformed into something monstrous, beyond human. The dream ends with the younger man living normally in the manor while the older couple are now acting like animals, scared out of their wits in thie sort of twisted form of karma.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I imagine certain details in mt account are not quite accurate as it was a dream, but I feel like I've seen something like this before, maybe The Twilight Zone? Forgive me if this seems a little disjointed, there were parts that didn't quite follow logically that I cut out but hopefully it's still coherent. It seemed very familiar but could also just be me repeating an old dream

strange dream. maybe it could be related to something in your life that your subconscious wants to tell you. how is your relationship with your parents?

>>14104Not the best but fine I guess? They're separated right now, divorce possibly on the horizon, but I wasn't even really thinking of about this connecting to anything in my life lol it just seemed so familiar that I thought it was an episode on a show or something that just replayed in my mind

>>14107how do you feel about older generations? like boomers and such.

>>14108Boomers specifically, not very fondly. Same with millennials. Gen X is meh. If this dream is supposed to be some reflection of my internal attitudes I'm not quite sure I like what I'm seeing lol I was certain I was just remembering something I had seen

>>14109I don't know man. Maybe its something youve seen or read about that your subconscious wants you to remember for some reason. have you read any news stories/heard anything from people you know about older people abusing/mistreating a younger man?

>>14110Recently? Not that I can recall. That's why I was thinking it was some sort of Twilight Zone episode or something that my subconscious repeated for a dream, and that's why I felt like it was familiar
