to answer the question it's because they denounced the lootboxes because it wasn't profitable enough and went for FOMO battle passes and instead of having a small section in the menu with a slot machine whole game was tuned to work like a slot machine, SBMM does not exist it doesn't autobalance raisin, it's there to make sure you spend as much time as possible in the game playing it non stop to "maximize engagement", meaning it will purposefully throw you into unwinnable games and then give you a small win and the idea is to keep your winrate at 50 percent, so that you end up buying battle pass cause you're already spending time on this garbage. basically if you're playing modern muliplayer fps games you're being raped by the algorithm designed to fuck with your brain, so stop doing this asap
