Just because there are stone castles means it automatically Britons inspired, I dont even see the French inspiration in Falkreath neither but overall, every locations with the exception of Markath takes more from Scandinavia than any locality and culture you mention.

You can see part of its AI in some places in Fallout 3 and NV but its only relegated to caravan routes and some random encounters with patrolling guards encountering bandits. Even then it is heavily nerfed, and you can see some reamnents with Freeside where some hobos will attack civilians and local guards intervene. The Strip in comparaison is so much more dead and soulless. One of the top mods downloaded on the nexus is the "Living Desert" which really change the game. Not to Oblivion level of radiant AI but still better than vanilla.
The big issue with radiant AI is really that the AI is impredictable to the point that some essential NPCs for a quest can be killed by a skooma addict.
I heard that even in Oblivion's state, they had to nerf the features too. What it could've been…
β25867[Quote]

Aside from the in-lore wars and genocides, the most morally justified 'racial discrimination' in the games is probably that against Khajiit caravans in Skyrim. It's not even about them being Khajiit, they belong to a tribe specifically known for smuggling and thievery and are vagrants even in Elsweyr.
This is ignoring stuff like the Dunmer in Winterhold being suspected of aiding the Empire, when they are blatantly doing so

>>26166Its all the appeal of Oblivion imo, you do spellcrafting and stack weakness spells on NPCs or command spells.
Oblivion with Morriwind is THE game where pure strength niggers get raped. You cant expect to bonk dudes and supernatural unless you like damage sponge.
Custom Battlemages are kings in Oblivion, there are ways to cheese everything with paralysis and all but the best way is for you to experiment yourself and have fun.
Also, depending on your birthsign and race you can have either an easier time or a totally different way to play.
The remaster also totally disabled fatigue effects (making it completly inferior imo), in the OG if you stacked 3 times your base fatigue you triple your damage. Combine that with powerful enchants and weakness spells on a PV sack NPC and watch him get die after two cast and one bonk of your enchanted Ebony Warhammer.

>>26260Different versions of the gamebryo engine make a very big difference. Everything from Morrowind forward uses gamebryo but modding looks very different across these games. Even relatively minor updates to Skyrim can break massive numbers of mods.
Not saying the remaster will have more mods than base, but original Oblivion's engine limitations does present different challenges to Skyrim.

TES kit works on it too. mods are going to come out for it, and for a base release this really isn't bad for a Bethesda game. it makes me semi-hopeful for F3, and FNV releases since it's apparently possible to have the creation engine mods from previous entries be read by the remakes if virtuoso continues to create the remakes the way they're making them. This release longterm only sucks for console users.
