I just feel like lego games ran out of steem. there's only so much of the same game with a different coat of paint people can take for most franchises.

These sets sucked fucking ass. Expensive as hell for no reason, too.

Lego Jurassic world the game was disappointing. I bought it on release because I wanted to to play an open world Jurassic park game like Lego marvel. But you can't even be a trex outside of the paddocks and the maps are pretty limited, they should have given us a san Diego hub or smth

Lego says it's expensive because every piece is created to a tolerance of 10 microns which lets you create big builds without any issues. Which is fair enough since typically 30 microns is considered alright.

I hate the half-assed adherence to their No War rule. Either stick to it or abandon it, don't sell out while trying to claim a moral high ground.

The reason is they stuff the sets with a whole bunch of small pieces these days (1x1 tiles etc) that would have previously been larger pieces which are cheaper to produce proportionally.

The plastic quality has been dropping too since they started manufacturing in China.
