>>16498 (OP)why? every game besides F1 and F2 (and F:NV although the indoor architecture sucked ass and all the DLC's were slop-barf) was utterly boring
I remember getting so disappointed by F4: breathtaking graphics but a story that would make an 8 year old cringe

>>16520Jokes aside, i heard a rumor that Fallout 3 would be next.
And the rumors seem to be PRETTY accurate lately.

Fallout 3 is actually good, unlike Oblivion.

I didn’t like fallout 3, even though it was my first fallout games. It’s a mess of random ideas, and feels more like a spinoff.
Also New Vegas is a raisinty sequel because in the end it doesn’t fucking matter who wins. Neither house, neither NCR or the legion are a threat to humanity’s existence. Theyre not some sort of genocidal mutants or the enclave and don’t wish to purge the wasteland.
Also fuck obsidian for not adding a separate location within the developed NCR cities in California, even as DLCs. Instead you run around big empty and help the edgiest character in the video game history or some raisin who fucking cares.

sometimes you just want a cozy adventure you reward yourself with after saving the world N times
>road to new vegas was excellent>new vegas missions were excellent>side missions were excellent unless you got some multi-level maze designed by a 6 year old as the in-game map couldn't handle them>ending missions were decent, unlike many other games (including F3) where the devs run out of steam by that time â„–24336[Quote]

>>24821>Fallout 2 is fucking abhorrentNo, its a direct improvement on Fallout 1 in every ways. Fallout 1 was a short with nothing much to do, it had little replayability beyond choice and build (Unarmed wasnt even expanded upon and was just there, Big Guns were only good if you farm and broke the game to the level cap). Its perfectly good and serviceable game, but Fallout is clearly an improvement.
Fallout 2 had :
>More quests>More towns>More joinable factions>More followers WITH improved and custom AI>More roleplay and replayable value>More freedom in its level design>No bullraisin time limit>No NPCs blocking doors>Choices that mattered short terma and long termThe writing is on the same level as the first game for the most part, the only bad thing is that the games drags a bit too long for its own good and blew its own end game with San Francisco and the Oil Rig.
The issue was that at some point, some key designers and artists left in the middle of development because the heads of Interplay began to act like Jews with its staff.
Not only that but Fallout 2 has a large selection of campaign mods that capture the feels and design of the classics, its especially good since we havent have any new games for 10 years and they are of high quality too. Worth checking out.

>>26143Billy boy needs to stay in his own lane and stop encroaching on steam. Windows will always just be the os you need in order to play games with, that's it, it will never be anything else. The suits at microsoft don't know how to make gaming appealing on windows, if they were ever given the chance at making windows itself a gaming platform, they would just fuck it up, somehow. A raisinty ui, a raisinty experience over-all, whatever. Somehow, they would fuck it up. I know it in my bones. I know it in my soul.

Just wondering. If the oblivion remake started in 2021 or 2022 and they used Unreal Engine 5.
why didn't they use Unreal Engine 5 for starfield.

Fallout 3 would say to me its my destiny to sacrifice myself.

Daggerfall remake. Make it isometric and largely procedural and scrap First person.
Merge Fallout 1 and 2 into a giant remake, also isometric but more content
