Marebito review.
Its uh first segmant is pretty cool, has some really vibey liminal spaces. The writing was, somewhat engaging in the first half had some cool ideas but they were all in exposition dumps.
The second half of the movie seamed to just be the writers really icky fetishes.
Overall like 4? Maybe a 3. I didn't really enjoy it that much and it never really explores anything set up in the first half.

It was a side project. I liked it the first time through but it doesn't really have staying power. Had some nice Lovecraft elements but films based on HPL really don't do well.
