Everything from thinking clearer, being able to process more information and faster, to better memory, focus, calm, energy, etc. Granted drugs get mixed in here considerably but you can get all of these effects and more from non-drug products as well.

True, but tbf ive been recovering after 3 years chronic alcohol, weed, nicotine and occas meth whilst under influence of fluvoxamine and brexpiprazole wih compromised impulse control.
I traveled 20km today on foot over about 4 hours, and have been doing journeys (on foot) consistently for the past 3-4 days. Books donβt particularly interest me- I dont like fiction and information IS readily accessible at my fingertips on the internet - i dont see purpose reading - at least on the surface
feel free to enlighten me if otherwise

>>11701really just depends if you're interested in learning how the world works and want to contribute yourself. reading surface-level texts is almost always just a waste of time. e.g., for physics and math, I recommend reading

>>11689I ran structured cabling for a few years. Itβs basically a great job overall (very independent) and you can make good money if you learn fiber (itβs very simple but all about the setup/organization). We used to do 12 strand all the time and splicing with a fusion splicer is the coolest thing ever. Make sure you put all the little pieces you cut off onto a piece of tape all facing the same direction or you will get fiber slivers - very unpleasant

I think only real self improvement would be going ketosis with a lots of fiber and cutting out everything refined.
Gut-brain axis is the single most important notion you have to learn about. All monoamines (Dopamine, Serotonin) is produced in gut and transferred to the brain via Vagus nerve.
