Rust absolutely BTFOs C/C++, this is not even a debate worth having. its type annotations objectively lead to more performance enhancing opportunities for compilers (did you know that LLVM has had bugs found in some of its performance enhancing measures purely due to Rust being the only language attempting to make use of them?).
