QUESTION: Who actually uses this shit? Do (you), on Windows 11, right now, use this? I'm willing to bet you probably don't. Who does? Unix has been going at life just fine without this liberal meme of a permissions system while billions of devices run it, everything from Android to laptops to servers that serve you this very site right now.
You know what the root user also meanw? You don't have to go through fucking trustedinstaller when you want to see what a guest user saved on your system.
>BHHUT THAATS UNETHICAL!
Don't use my computer then, schlomo.
Crappy features like this are why Windows is so bloated, they cannot resist including useless shit to make your computer feel like more of a muh workstation when it isn't. Windows put SSD trim in the same dialog as their stupidass built-in debugger. What does Linux do? Just run it on boot! Windows is the epitome of placebo buttons, requiring muh utility that muh wizard that to do this meaningless imaginary Windows construct that isn't a part of your computer, while LinuxGODS sit back and just use their device.

>>25726Well with MacOS, the OS is locked down so much already that you can't do anything without admin. With Linux you cannot change the clock, install software, or create ACLs without also giving the web browser the ability to format the hard drive and overwrite the BIOS with zeros with a simple password request, something it can trick the user into doing by pretending it's for the "keychain" or "updates" or something like that.
