I love taking an hour our my day to walk through my local woodland.

At this time of year, all the bluebells are out, and the forest floor turns a lovely blue/violet hue, with patches of green highlighted by the early afternoon sun peeking through the developing canopy. There are enough bluebells to make every step feel like the first into a perfume shop.

It really does make me think how lucky my parents were to get their mortgage before the insane inflation, on a house in such a beautiful area.
I think how lucky I am that I can afford to take this time to enjoy what should be the God-given right of every man.
I think how lucky I am that the owners of the woodland didn't see me enjoying the once common land they now own.
I think how lucky I am to still have all my faculties; I can run, climb, touch and smell everything around me.

Truly, it is a shame that many people don't have such easy access to nature's beauty. It is still more of a shame when the people near that beauty spend little to no time there, or actively prevent their fellow man from experiencing it.

Ik every countries nature is different (I would NOT want to go hiking off trail in most natural reserves), but I honestly couldn't recommend anything better if you are having a bad day.
