Yeah that's going to be hard because you have the temptation right on tap.
It's similar to the monkey mind control experiments:
https://www.drtulsian.com/interestingReading/biology/the-forgotten-era-of-brain-chips.pdfBasically they put an electrode in the monkey's brain, then when he pushed a button, he was happy. Poor little monkey from what i understand could not stop pushing the button.
That's how we are with porn. It's right there, on the computer, waiting for you. You don't WANT to do it, yet you do. We have ALL been there. We are like that poor little monkey in a way.
But we can fight our fate a bit. First sit down and ask yourself "what was going on to make me go to this?" analyze what led up to this, and try to break that chain. Sounds easy, but it's hard. Don't be discouraged by the difficulty! I struggle with porn too, it's just too dang available and in EVERY flavor.
Next we make rules: not during working hours is a good one. Not on Sunday, is another. These will be your rules though so figure out when you NEED a hard shut off and set that. Enforce YOUR rules, they are YOUR rules, this establishes that YOU are the master of you life, not the porn. Use whatever tool you have available too. Do you have to imagine a soyjack popping up and saying "oh look at anon breaking the rules!" fine if it works it works.
You will be in for a challenge, but the sooner you fight this monkey, the better, because this monkey like all bad habit monkeys gets stronger with time. hang in there.
