>>96003It was their last album supervised by Norman Smith of Beatles production/engineering fame, and I think it's a great send-off to their psychedelic era, after the flop of the studio side of Ummagumma. It sounds amazing, however there are lackluster moments and stuff I skip over particularly reprises and tracks of the AHM Suite. Summer '68 is alright, better than Remember a Day but not great or that relistenable. If and Fat Old Sun are pretty good, the former being the superior track. And Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast is more or less leftovers but still highly enjoyable, if not for some of the over abundance of sfx like the munching through half of Sunny Side Up, which makes it a tad annoying. But other than that the song is great, just nice languid mellow psych rock. I rather like their instrumental tracks when they're really standout.
