I don't read books usually but I recently read "Yanoama: The Story of Helena Valero" since It caught my eye, I think it's my current favorite book.

Maaaan I've been busy so i haven't had the time to enjoy books as much i used to but these last years i have been really invested in "The Thursday's Murder Club" saga by Richard Osman, though I left the third one like half way through due to things and I would have to probably start to read it all over again
Also I've been enjoying the metro books, though my interaction with the saga has been weird
First i played exodus, then I read 2034 and 2035 (they didn't had 2033 in stock), then I played 2033 and last light and just now I started reading 2033, though I also left it unfinished due to being busy.

I think the last book I read was the first hobbit book

We Were Soldiers the book is really good and a lot more throughly detailed than the movie, giving you accounts of each element of 2nd Cav in the battle down to the squad level.

The three musketeers would be a good anime.
Has sections where D'artagnan having to deal with M'lady, Kitty, and Bonacieux, also a battle of a castle where the have a feast and fight off sappers. Or when all the musketeers have to fight bandits in the frenchwoods.
