Is there a way to make loomis less agonizing?
I can't even draw the lines on the fucking ball right. Is loomis just a meme, why doesn't the book give me an idea of how to draw the axis' on the ball correctly?

i only use loomis when placing simple head structures to my sketches, so they don't have literal spheres for a head

so, i do it like this guy does it in here https://youtu.be/ky5-PkH4vvw?si=YrpxhZ0rST8-Mitr. it's a very simplified method, but it conveys perspective and spatial dimension accurately

I used to be a Photoshop slave, but then i made the effort in trying to switch to CSP and successfully did so. I like Krita, but i don't think it's as versatile as CSP or Photoshop. I guess i can see the advantage of using it if you plan on stop being a Windows slave and switch to Linux, but unfortunately i'm too dependent on Windows, so i don't think that'll ever happen.

My advice is to use them both for some weeks or so just so you have a solid comparison between the both of them. I recommend starting with CSP. Just get that it can take long to get used to a program, but thankfully it'll apply to other programs as well. I think it took me months to fully get used to Photoshop tools, workflows, techniques, etc. But once i switched to CSP, everything was pretty much the same.

I also heard somewhere CSP can be installed in Linux, but it looks like a headache, so i'm good.

btw is studying and learning vilpoos method actually worth it? Or should I just continue copying and trying to think how and why they put that line there, think about perspective and foreshortening etc.

Also I hate AI niggers. But I feel kinda pushed to use it in some way or the other to put out raisin quicker especially if I want to make money with my creativity someday. Alternatively I could just become a trad artist and draw on wood or something.
