The reason is that Contagion (which is OOP for some reason except Felthius), Virulence and Poxes are the 'main' disciplines of the seven of the Nurgle path so you got terminator lord, terminator lord and footlord in normal armour.
But most importantly is that Pox Lord looks okay while slaughterbound is offensively bad. I already have a daemon prince so I don't want the new WE combat patrol. Really I like the lord of skulls, but I would prefer it to have legs. WE lineup is 50% great sculpts and 50% raisin. Like having 3 eightbound, as a treat/elites would be cool but GW wants it to be a horde of eightbound and jakhals instead of berserkers, eightbound, red butchers and world eater predators.

Also the extra plague marine sprues are cool because you can just buy backpacks/marine bodies on bits websites and make more of them. The plague marines in this box are worth about 33 bucks in ebay prices vs. the price of the box, so you can get some bits for like 30-40 bucks and pump out 14 marines for what GW would normally charge for 7.

No idea what that works out to in points after the codex release, but that's a decent spread. It's hard to say what exactly you're going to want in a typical list with upcoming changes, but the Blightlords and Blighthauler are the only ones that aren't really lost staples right now.
You're missing a few key components like Typhus, Biologus, FBS, and Mortarion. Plus probably a tank or allied knight and some nurglings.
