old roblox was very insecure, keep in mind uptill 2020 you could achieve server-side execution on literally any game by simply editing the XML data that is created when you join a game by using fiddler (this actually still works on most old roblox revivals GEG)

4. A lot of site features or quality of life isn't there because Roblox tried to appeal to investors and rich folk ever since like 2013 and much more starting 2018 while abusing legal loopholes as they were at risk being sued because of reasons above
Guests were also genuinely removed because they were being used for anonymity while exploiting.

i joined around mid 2016 when i saw a dantdm video about roblox. i played a guest for a good while before actually signing up around the end of the year. i remember playing slenderman games and area 51 and laughing manically as i watched other cacas get killed by le heccing scary killer because i closed the door on them and you would make a funny sound whenever you'd die
i'd say the best era of roblox for me personally was 2017-2019 before they added the new raisinty ingame ui. mostly because of the 2017 and 2018 egg hunts. good times
