If you're 5"7' then you'll want to make sure that have your measurements because a standard one will bee too big for you otherwise it's not a bad plan, I have a couple shoulder rigs and they're great.

If you don't want to bother with holsters you can always get a pocket pistol like 21a or tomcat but they come in sissy calibers.

I thought if push came to shove I'd try and find a Beretta 84FS, I've found a few for a good price. .380 is definitely not the best caliber but I think that anyone who suddenly has a few holes added to their chest that weren't there moments before will likely rethink their actions, so it's not the end of the world. A gun is better than no gun

I'll keep that in mind, thanks for letting me know. I'll probably email them and save up for it. I'm currently working on a retro M16 build so a shoulder holster will have to wait for now

It's not necessarily that it's not an option, it's just extremely uncomfortable. Granted, I don't have an IWB holster at the moment because I'm looking more into shoulder rigs, but if push comes to shove that may be what I need to do. I've tried free balling the thing and it just digs into my leg no matter how I position it, and God forbid if I have to sit down

I daily a 92fs with a raisinty omnicarry holster. aiwb or sob are the only viable options for such a large pistol. Something like a hoodie or cover shirt a size too big helps. Get a decent belt and pants with a bit of stretch to improve comfort drastically. I find it comfortable enough to drive and sit with in slightly stretchy denim but it is completely unbearable with unstretchable denim.

Seeing as we're about the same height that is actually some really good advice, friend! I'll look into IWB a bit more. I wish there was a place where you could physically try out holsters to see what works, but alas. Thanks very much for the input!

Man I've worked multiple jobs that required me to wear a fanny pack pretty much at all times. I fucking hate them lmao, they kill any outfits you pair them with

If you aren't a fatty, the only way to carry a gun with a grip longer than your torso is deep is appendix or sob. Some people have success with extreme cant at 4 or 6 o'clock but this was pure agony for me while driving. Appendix is the only position comfortable enough for me to drive with.

I had the same thoughts when I got into it. I suggest getting something with 2 clips to help disperse the weight a bit. I rotate my belt buckle to the left to make room for the holster and gun to be placed directly over the button of my pants. My omnicarry has done well despite the gun fitting sloppily.

I normally carry a g19 iwb but during winter months or days when it’s cold/wet out I’ll carry a 92fs owb under a flannel/hoodie/jacket/whatever. Just make sure you’ve got a good belt cuz it’ll pants ya

Yeah, I'm only 155 last I checked. I'm not athletic by any means, I need to hit the gym again, but I'm not fat either. I do have rather broad shoulders for my size but that's about it. Helps give me an excuse to wear baggier clothing which is one of the reasons I was looking into shoulder rigs

Couldn't agree more. One of these days I want to get the old 84FS Cheetah and have that as a pocket carry. Sadly I don't make enough money to splurge on guns so it's a waiting game, but I'm a sucker for their open slide pistols and their shotguns (Including the Benelli family, I really want an M3 ;-;)

OWB would be nice if I can find a suitable jacket. I can LARP as a modern day Doc Holliday lmao. I may need to look into a proper gun belt but I think my current belt would work fine enough
