The only good things are wide FOV, super bright reticle and integrated mount
This thing is coal and I should have got a lpvo instead

Nigger, the 4x is for zog golems

β885[Quote]
>>882It might be overrated but it's still good. The battery one is cool too, it's probably the better choice for most people anyway. I think you get about a year per battery and that's not bad at all for a magnified optic.

>>885It's the one thing I hate about my LPVO, I often forget to turn it off, and the battery only lasts a few days at most.
β987[Quote]
>>946Yeah I get about 80 hours from my main scope. So far no battery has lasted more than 84. A full year would be great.

Also buy the chevron and don't fall for the horseshoe/donut jew

My vote is just donβt buy it and get an LPVO or magnified system
Agreed about the chevron, itβs just nicer overall and more simple to gauge range
If you have weird eye dominance, the both eyes open shooting might take getting use to or you just might not like it at all
So if possible go look at it in a gun store

You toss all that raisin into a pot and you have a recipie for old and clearly outdated (but good) stuff being massively popular. We all know that popular = cringe. Thats why acogs are cringe.

ironsights won
β1141[Quote]
>>1130No they dont lmfao. This bozo cant shoot irons properly, you are clearly suffering from a case of "skill issue"
β1149[Quote]
>>1141Not that guy but I want to chime in. The problem with physical metal iron sights is sometimes they are not aligned perfectly to the barrel, thus inaccurately representing the trajectory of the bullet out of the barrel, and will shoot in any combination and degree of low, high, to the right, or to the left. This can be difficult and annoying to adjust, and sometimes downright impossible without removing metal from the gun in some capacity whether that's with a file or something more advanced to permit sight readjustment.
I am a supporter of ironsights though.
β1165[Quote]
>why are these things so fucking cringe
because the only thing you need these days is a good red dot
β1205[Quote]
>>1149i have always chalked that up to be an extremely rare off shoot of shooting irons. A good set irons are all designed in such a way that they have 3 points of contact with the barrel and wont budge at all. Typically when i find irons are off, its telling me that the barrel is canted or the sights itself is canted.
But you can say the exact same thing for scopes. Its why people spend hundreds on a set of scope rings. If you dont have your rifle perfectly squared while you are getting your reticle plum with the target. Your scopes going to be off when you make adjustments, despite it being zeroed in correct.
β1314[Quote]
>>799 (OP)Probably because you're a retarded faggot newzoomer who's using it wrong. ACOGs were great for the general infantry warfare when they were designed. If you've got range to work with, they're good. If you're fighting MOUT style, they suck and you'd be better off with a red dot. It's all a trade off. You'll understand after you're old enough to legally buy a handgun.
