not really; you gotta fill the bottle with some kind of medium like they use to do with old timey suppressors

thats how it use to be especially the old mac10 suppressors

now, we have many types of baffle technology and suppressors last a lifetime if maintained and the carbon build up can be cleaned out or in alot of rifle cans it just blows it out as it shoots

wipe suppressors are about the only thing you need to regularly replace

some sort of metal can filled with cotton would probably work better
