this book pretty much covers everything from arithmetic/counting (but it goes fast over it honestly) to trigonometry and matrices
it is used in the first class of math a college students might take
it is also intended as a review for high school math
it is also used to prepare students to learn calculus (usually in the next math course)

also, the first chapter is literally called fundamentals
it is 147 pages (i was wrong to say it goes over it fast)
i just reviewed the chapter
it has everything that you would call fundamentals (everything you would be taught in primary and middle school)
the next chapters goes on to talk about things you would study in high school
this book is supreme, it is the most used book in this category of books
it was written by stewart, who also wrote the most used book for calculus also (he is a god)
the book uses pretty simple language that even an ESL like me can understand (that's another reason it used all over the world including the native english speaking countries)
read these 147 pages and i guarantee you would know all the fundemntals
