After over a thousand hours in game I finally found the master Strat to win most of the time. It definitely works for any other night so use this as a general guide.

As soon as the game starts, just kill the lights, feed Squirreljak and flash your light in the hallway/vent every 10 seconds. Do this right and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t have 100% power by the time 2am rolls around. When flashing middle hallway, always have your mouse already on the door button in case fingerboy is there. If chud comes in then wait for the buzzing to stop then very quickly check both doors, I think Imp needs to be unchecked for 6 or 7 seconds for him to kill you and chuds attack lasts 5 seconds so it’s important that you do this.

At 2am, turn on the light for just a sec, close Pliers door then kill the lights again. Keep checking the middle/side doors every 10 seconds. When cobson appears far away, (defcob 3) then check the middle door every 3 seconds. When he gets to medium distance (defcob 2) close the left door and prepare for defcob 3. As soon as he is close all you have to do is briefly flick your light and he will start his attack. At this point, you just gotta sit still for 15 seconds, not even turn around, just bend over your desk and listen to his heavy breathing and pray to Allah that Fingerboy or Impjak don’t attack. Once you start hearing his heavy, plodding, “pa-PA, pa-PA pa-PA” footsteps with no buzzing you know he is in the room. When you hear the footsteps again, you’re still not out of the woods, you have to wait until they fully stop before it’s safe to turn on the lights. If Chud attacked at the same time as Cob you might have to wait a few seconds longer.

At 4am if you have 60% power left, it’s safe to just close the left door so you don’t have to check it anymore and only worry about the front door. Now you just gotta hang tight and watch out for Fingerboy and Cobson because they both come VERY active around the final hours. If you’re lucky and don’t get attacked by both at the same time then this strategy should work.

And here I was keeping the fucking doors shut from before Cobson even starts calling the phone on me, wondering when the fuck he'll move on from those doors… Why didn't the devs make this more clear…

More tips: if Chud enters, close the door behind him so the hallway imp can't come in until Chud opens the door so he can exit. Then, flash.

When you hear Cob's footsteps for the first time, but he doesn't enter the room, close the door on him, and he'll bang on it, then he'll immediately enter. Doing otherwise can result in him just waiting there for 30 seconds, while Nutty sets Feraljak free. If you risk your luck, you can open and close the door on Cobson quickly, so he won't knock on it and deplete power. But don't do it too quickly, or he might rape you. DEFINITELY DO IT if he's wearing Doll's face as a mask. He'll just sit there, politely asking you to let him in, even calling you "lil' buddy" like Doll used to, but in Cobson's distorted, low-pitch voice. However, masked Cobson is a rare easter-egg.

Another thing: to survive Cob, turn off the lights, look STRAIGHT AT the middle hallway when Cob is in, and DON'T MOVE, DON'T PERFORM ANY ACTION WHATSOEVER. And also: DON'T FACE THE IMP'S VENT OR NUTTY THE SQUIRREL WHEN COBSON COMES IN. Even if the lights are off and you're standing completely still, he'll still rape you anyway if you're facing those directions.

Also, here's a "metronome" that changes color every 10 or so seconds. I always keep it on my phone as I play the game, especially to remind me that I have to feed Nutty

Idk, but in the demo, I tried locking the imp in with the door and flashing my lights on him, and he just opened the door to leave. I also saw a button animation, maybe he pressed it.

how are you supposed to know if cobson is in the office after the first sound of footsteps, wont he just kill you if you check with the flashlight

Also check for the breathing. If there's no breathing, there's no Cobson. But be careful if Feraljak's tablet is playing or if Chud/imp/'plier make buzzing sounds, you might not hear Cobson's breathing as easily.

Chud is the only jak who can open closed doors. The rest will only come inside if the doors open, but if you close the door while they're in, as soon as their attack is over a button animation will play and they'll leave
