was HHH's reign of terror really that bad back in the day? I wasn't watching at the time but people make it out to have been some of the worst time for raw in the history of WWE. was it as bad as people say?

I shoot loved it but I was like 8

no lol
the only horrible time was like after 2007 to around 2019 where women saved WWE.
the PG era of vince pleasing his wife so she can run for senator was atrocious.
but now with triple geytch in charge he is just ruining all the talent with raisinty boring writing, no fun no noothing

No, it was not bad at all. Way better than the modern raisin today. Title reigns today barely even have storylines or real rivalries. HHH single-handedly built up Batista and Orton as main eventers and they became 2 of the biggest stars the company ever had. Modern day reigns are long, drawn out, boring, and don't build anyone up.

Really all he did was send RVD back to the upper midcard and rightfully went over Nash

>But Booker T and Kane

Rebounded from it, Booker was better off on SmackDown and Kane's heel turn after unmasking was kino, hell Kane and RVD were still getting title shots

Well, compared to Jeff Jarrett who was a dimeless anti draw who buried all potential draws during his stranglehold on the NWA title no.

Triple H is a draw (as a heel, not so much as a face) he dropped the belt to people like Shawn, Benoit, and Batista who also became draws

He gets a bad rap. Ratings went down because of Austin and Rock leaving + the WWF/WCW war and how badly Vince fumbled the alliance storyline.
Sure he wasnt a huge draw but he was one of the only people good enough to be consistent on the show and kept things reasonably stable whilst the company built Cena, Batista and Orton.
Even after the reign of terror whenever there were injuries or those guys needed a guy to work with Triple H like Carder was usually ready.

aside from beating RVD the worst thing he ever did was be a boring promo

 â„–48895[Quote]

2002-2004 was pretty bad because guys they brought in like Goldberg, Steiner, and Nash didn't stick around too long and they didn't build anyone else up to share the main event scene with him on RAW (which he probably had a lot to do with). I still think Jericho and maybe Booker T should have been pushed so he didn't have to hog the top of the card. He made up for it by putting over Batista and Cena to usher in the new era though, I guess.

He was mad that Eugene was more over than him and buried him
