I know they typically slaughter and eat the buffalo after the Vietnamese matches. I'm not sure if the Chinese buffalo are ever eaten. In China, highly respected respected buffalo like the great Optimus Prime are often buried whole when they die. I thought I'd made a few webms showing funeral processions and saved some images of the buffalo burial sites, but I can't find them.
