To make /dem/ more relevant, I think appealing towards artfags/creatorfags would be the best approach. While /gem/ was and is still used as an area for artfags. Its not the best spot for them as its not accessible to their main audience. Also OC being made here would be a great trait to have as most alternative boards from /soy/ are not able to be consistent in this regard. The goal for this board is the be atleast third rank in PPH. And to have no hours where it is zero. This means we can't get conservationalist whenever older boards get slid (you should archive it anyways). And allow newer topics to be posted. In my presidency, I am going to keep stickying to a limit as I will only sticky my daily changes and in the future a general information post for any official servers and long standing info.
This board can grow and it's already showing
