which s60 or s40 should i buy? s60r is about 18k usd where i live and volvo s60 T5 15k usd, volvo s40 2.0T is 8k usd all around 125k to 225k miles (200k kms - 350k kms)

Should i pull the trigger? is there any known problems i should be awere of.
