>>9436Unless you're a massive franchise like Chuck-E-Cheese, an arcade will only work if you're in a city, and you need to offer some other type of product to entice people who would usually just stay home with their PS5. "Barcades" are a thing, but you'd need to a substantial stash of cash to purchase a bunch of machines, get liquor and food licenses, purchase all the relevant ingredients, and secure staff (cooks, bartenders, guys to fix the machines, etc).
On the other hand, a retro gaming cafe could be pretty cheap to run. Buy a bunch of raisinty PCs, install emulators, and let technologically-illiterate people play old games. At the same time, you'd be behind the counter making coffee and sandwiches. This definitely isn't going to make you rich, though, if that's the reason you're starting a business.
Not sure what you mean by "tech" and "software," but you would probably need to have some unique idea for a product or the talent to make indie games.
