its much better than DBZ, I haven't watched DB since I was a kid but I imagine it was a bit kiddier than i'd prefer. One Piece is the ultimate soulful series and objectively the modern Odyssey being told in real time.

In one piece the arcs connect well, as if they are one whole while in db it's random it recons too much times, it's no surprise there's such a divide between each section of it (classic DB, DBZ, GT, or super)
