Looked up the FZ1 and thats a nice full cage frame. Plus I miss my FZ750 genesis 5 valve with a yoshi pipe.
But i haven't seen any for sale locally and im trying to find a wrecked one so that might be a little bit of a search/wait.
But thanks for pointing it out- its top of the list currently.

It certainly seems that way, though you never know if it was intentional or not. I doubt someone with a handicap plate was checking their rear view for speeding crotch rockets. Probably just sitting in the fast lane, dazed and confused.

Itβs very important to carry a gun while riding your motorcycle. You never know which cagie is completely unhinged.

>>100816Yes, it's awesome. Very compact. Accurate, but you do have to practice with it specifically. I was having accuracy problems at first because I was tweaking my arm on trigger pull. It's not so forgiving with things like that, like my 1911 is.
β100820[Quote]
>>100818yeah, thatβs always nice to have. You could always highside with a gun in your waist and land on it, effectively breaking your hips. Gun pointed at dick carry is basically impossible on an bike. Unfortunately just skiddadling on a dual sport or hawg isnβt *always* an option.
>>100817I have definitely considered the ramifications of what would happen if I had to use the scary nazi gun. P365 is probably a lot like the hell cat except even less accurate. Neat holster. Holsters are important.

Bros, I almost had to abandon my yz in the creek earlier…
She was sunk in quick sand mud. Took like 30 minutes of pulling while sliding everywhere and having no traction. Put myself to the brink of exhaustion. Front wheel was hydro locked in the mud, but I eventually got the bike free and got back home.
Should have known better. It rained recently and it was really muddy in the field.
>>100820Yeah, I definitely understand the not being able to escape in all situations. Those bikes just don't have the top end to get away if a confrontation happens on the highway. Do what you gotta do.
In general, I just don't like carrying. It's a hassle. I usually just throw the gun in my backpack, but I understand the accessibility is just not there when seconds count.

>>100859Damn, glad you got it out. When I first started riding dual sports, I had a similar situation with my CRF. I went down a muddy trail I shouldn't have gone down and got absurdly stuck in the mud. It was so slick and sticky I could barely walk on it. The kind of mud where you put your foot down and pick it up and somehow your boot is just completely caked in super thick mud.
I had no idea how much mud can fucking suck. They don't show that in the promotional videos. I eventually dragged my bike out. It took hours and I was completely drenched in sweat. Needless to say, I'm super careful about mud when I ride alone (which is almost always). I'll go through a little bit, but getting stuck somewhere and you can't even get good footing to move your 300lb bike? Fuck that.
