When you're attacked by bigger oppenents I think you should stay put and resist for as long as you can while your teammates try and help you, if you believe the situation is doomed you send as much ressources as possible to a 'een before dying

Do this by setting the troop percent bar to minimum. The last thing you want is for the enemy to consolidate more territory. If he is on the offensive and you have his attention, and you have his attention then there is an opportunity for an ally to come in and attack while the enemy isn't at his strongest.
If the situation is too rapid, i.e. your collapse is in a matter of seconds, then (and only then really) should you max send/dump all of your resources into another ally.
If the map has islands you can always retreat to them. This usually means that you will not doing any serious damage the rest of the game, but, you can always attempt to annoy, distract, and occupy enemy players with island hopping.
