Didn't know what that meant so I checked it out on the library computer during lunch and I kek'd a little and then skipped math afterwards to play minecraft with the boys. Absolutely fell in love with the idea of anon posting, not needing an account with a name and face. Social media was a mistake if I'm being completely honest. The founding of Facebook/Twitter/etc took the interwebs in the wrong direction and opened the door for mass surveillance and censorship, not to mention the unbearable narcissism that namefag platforms foment. I genuinely miss the pre 2012 era before cuckerberg and the others implemented these things. Honestly Im still pissed that 4chan died and can never come back. Even though it was a glowie infested, /pol/tard overrun raisinhole I was very comfy just raisinposting and lulzing. I just want the pre gg days back. I miss teh lulz. I miss comfy storytime threads. I miss when 4chan was funny. I miss the pre coof optimism. I miss when /pol/ was contained. I miss when threads were more lighthearted and humorous and not everything felt like a battle against one another. But nothing good can last, and I guess 22 years was longer than the average forum lifespan anyway. Honestly part of me wishes 4chan was shut down after around 2014. The cancer became terminal after that.

It is fun to look back at just how much the site has changed for the worse over the years. I don't give a fuck what le ancient oldfags tell me about before my time, I still had fun when I first joined. The /sp/ mod scandal and GamerGate made me realize just how faggy the moderation team and Moot were and I slowly but surely stopped caring about the site.
It deserved its death tbh, I'll miss the memories I had with it but all good things must come to an end.
